We provide professional servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance for a range of vehicles, with a focus on quality workmanship, reliability and customer service.We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.Position DutiesThe successful applicant will be responsible for:
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and vehicle system faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Inspecting engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering and other vehicle systems
Repairing and replacing worn, defective or damaged mechanical components
Performing road tests and final inspections to ensure repairs are completed properly
Maintaining accurate service records and repair documentation
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Liaising with service advisors and workshop staff regarding repair requirements and vehicle progress
Keeping the workshop area clean, organised and compliant with workplace health and safety requirements

Required Skills and ExperienceThe successful applicant must have:
Relevant trade qualification in automotive mechanical technology or equivalent
At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience with vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and fault finding
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive communication skills and strong attention to detail
Current driver licence preferred
