This is a full-time position based in Narangba, QLD ****.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of our solar energy solutions business, driving sales and promoting our high-quality solar products and services to residential and commercial customers.
As a Solar Sales Representative, you will play a crucial part in our company's expansion within the renewable energy sector, helping customers transition to sustainable energy solutions whilst achieving ambitious sales targets.Key responsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking within the local Narangba community and surrounding areasPresent and demonstrate solar energy solutions to potential customers, explaining the benefits, cost savings and environmental advantagesPrepare and deliver tailored quotes and proposals for residential and commercial solar installationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process and beyondConduct site assessments and gather necessary information to provide accurate solar system recommendationsNegotiate contracts and close sales whilst ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policiesAchieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metricsMaintain accurate records of all customer interactions, quotes and sales in the company CRM systemCollaborate with the installation and customer service teams to ensure seamless project deliveryStay current with solar technology, industry trends, government incentives and competitors' offeringsRepresent Diamond Air and Energy professionally at industry events,



trade shows and community engagement activitiesWhat we're looking forProven experience in sales, preferably within the solar, renewable energy or home improvement sectorsDemonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer groupsExcellent presentation and negotiation abilitiesKnowledge of solar technology, energy solutions or renewable energy systems is highly desirableFamiliarity with government solar rebates, incentives and financing options such as the Clean Energy Finance Corporation schemesProficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applicationsValid driver's licence and reliable transport for site visits and customer meetingsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamProblem-solving mindset with strong attention to detailEnthusiasm for renewable energy and sustainabilityRelevant sales certifications or qualifications are advantageous but not essentialWhat we offerDiamond Air and Energy is committed to providing our employees with a rewarding career in the rapidly growing renewable energy industry.
