This role is part of that ambition.The roleWe're looking for an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller to take ownership of Ranged's internal finance function as our Head of Finance.
This is a hands‐on role - you'll run the numbers across our Retail, Legal, Export, Corporate Advisory and CFO Advisory divisions, lead a team of bookkeepers and be the financial backbone that allows our Advisory Teams to focus on what they do best.
You'll report directly to two Managing Directors and have genuine scope to shape how finance operates inside a growing, multi-division business.What you'll be doingOwning the monthly reporting cycle across all five group divisionsPreparing consolidated management accounts and divisional performance reportsDeveloping and maintaining financial KPIs across divisions,



giving leadership clear visibility of performance against targetsIdentifying and driving performance improvement initiatives - from process efficiencies to margin and cost opportunitiesSupporting the MDs with financial analysis and ad hoc commercial queriesLeading and reviewing the bookkeeping team to ensure accuracy and timelinessManaging cash flow, budgets and forecastsLiaising with external tax and compliance advisorsWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Head of Finance or Financial Controller or equivalentA track record of building meaningful KPI frameworks and translating financial data into actionable insightsExperience managing or reviewing a bookkeeping teamHigh attention to detail — you care that the numbers are right, not just close enoughComfortable owning a full finance function across a lean, fast‐moving businessAdvanced Excel skills and solid working knowledge of XeroAble to work autonomously and manage priorities across multiple entitiesBackground in professional services with knowledge of consumer goods, FMCG or retail advantageousExperience in multi‐division or group reporting environmentsThe details3 days per week (flexible on days for the right candidate)On site, split between our Hawthorn and Melbourne CBD officesCompetitive remuneration commensurate with experience
