The Warehouse Team Leader is the operational heartbeat of the CENDRÉ warehouse.
This role leads the day-to-day running of warehouse operations — from receiving and quality control through to pick, pack, and dispatch across online orders, wholesale, and in-store collections — while guiding and supporting the warehouse team to perform to a consistently high standard.This is a hands-on leadership role.

Your work — and the team you build around you — is the foundation that everything else depends on.What You OwnYou are accountable for the successful execution of the following functions.Warehouse Operations & Team LeadershipOversee and actively participate in all warehouse operations including receiving, quality checking, put-away, pick, pack, and dispatchLead the team's daily workflow — allocating tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring the right people are on the right jobs at the right timeMaintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse setting and hold the team to the same standardOwn stock accuracy — lead cycle counts, manage discrepancies, and ensure Indigo8 reflects physical stock at all timesIdentify and escalate quality concerns, damaged goods, or process failures promptly and with clear contextOversee returns and exchanges, ensuring accurate processing within agreed timeframesEnsure wholesale orders are packed accurately and to the correct standard, with processes consistently followed by the whole teamOversee in-store pick-up fulfilment,



ensuring customers are greeted warmly and their orders are handled with care and professionalismHandle customer care enquiries in the warehouse environment, escalating to the Customer Experience Lead where appropriatePlan and lead the team through peak periods, promotional launches, and high-volume dispatch days, ensuring workload is distributed and the operation keeps movingProduction SupportDirect and coordinate production tasks and light assembly within the warehouse teamOwn quality control processes — set and communicate the standard, check product before packing, and address issues at the sourceMaintain accurate records of completed production tasks, quality issues, and any product concerns identifiedCoordinate preparation of product for photoshoots, sampling, and trade events, briefing the team and ensuring delivery to briefLead PR send-outs for the marketing team — overseeing product selection, packing, and preparation to gifting and presentation standardsProactively identify and implement improvements to production and warehouse workflows, bringing the team along in the processCross-Functional CollaborationAct as the primary operational point of contact for the warehouse, communicating clearly with the wider team on stock movements, task progress, and issuesPartner with the Demand Planner to ensure Indigo8 and physical stock are always aligned and discrepancies are resolved quicklyWork closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure order issues, returns, and in-store collections are resolved quickly and accuratelyDecision Making AuthorityAs Warehouse Team Leader, you are empowered to make independent decisions in the following areas:Day-to-day task allocation, workflow sequencing, and team priorities within the warehouseWarehouse organisation, stock location, cleanliness standards,



and the processes used to maintain themQuality control decisions within agreed thresholds — including rejecting non-conforming product before it is packedDirecting warehouse team members on their daily tasks, pace, and standardsImplementing workflow improvements within the warehouse that do not require external resource or budgetThe following require joint decision-making or escalation to the Operations Manager or Founder / Owner:Significant stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or quality concerns requiring write-off or investigationChanges to agreed quality thresholds, pack standards, or dispatch proceduresDecisions about returns policy exceptions, stock destructions, or reclassificationsPeople matters, performance concerns, or anything affecting team members or external suppliersWhat Success Looks LikeThe warehouse team operates with clarity — everyone knows their priorities and the standard expectedEvery order is picked accurately, packed to standard, and dispatched on time, consistentlyStock accuracy is high — Indigo8 reflects physical stock and discrepancies are caught and resolved quicklyQuality issues are identified at the source and addressed before they reach the customerThe wider business can rely on the warehouse — operations, CX, and marketing trust that things will be done rightWholesale and PR orders are packed accurately and to the right standard, with processes followed by the whole teamIn-store pick-up customers are greeted warmly and leave with a positive impression of the brandYour leadership is felt every day — the team is more capable, more confident, and more consistent because of youSuccess at CENDRÉ isn't measured by completing tasks.
