Our JBS Hemmant Cold Store Facility is currently recruiting an experienced Dispatch Clerk to join our team in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to the Transport Coordinator, you will play a key role in the efficient dispatch of chilled and frozen products to domestic and export customers.
Working closely with warehouse teams and transport providers, you will be responsible for processing orders, preparing and maintaining dispatch documentation, monitoring transport schedules and ensuring the accurate movement of stock.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented administration qualified looking to further develop their logistics career within a global organisation that is leading the way in the meat industry.The standard rate for this role is $***** per hour and we offer two shift options including:Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 6am to 2pmAfternoon Shift | Monday to Friday | 2pm to 10pm (penalty rates apply)Please let us know your shift preference at the start of the recruitment process.About YouPrevious experience in a similar shipping, warehousing or logistics role preferredPrevious experience with transport scheduling advantageousIntermediate computer literacy skills, specifically within MS ExcelProven ability to work under pressureStrong organisational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracySound problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamWhy join JBS Australia?
