This is a full-time government-accredited traineeship opportunity offering a unique pathway into retail management within the rapid food and food retail sector.
You will gain practical, hands-on experience whilst working towards your Certificate III qualification, preparing you for a successful career in food retail management.
This role combines on-the-job training with formal study, providing you with both theoretical knowledge and real-world experience essential for managing busy food retail operations.What you'll be doingSupporting the day-to-day operations of our fast food outlet, including opening and closing proceduresAssisting with staff scheduling, training and supervision under the guidance of senior managementMonitoring and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with relevant regulationsManaging customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all customersAssisting with inventory management, stock rotation and ordering of suppliesSupporting the implementation of operational policies and proceduresContributing to the achievement of sales targets and financial objectivesLearning point-of-sale systems and cash handling proceduresAssisting with promotional activities and marketing initiativesCompleting assigned tasks as directed by management whilst undertaking your Certificate III qualificationWhat we're looking forCandidates to be eligible to commence a Certificate III in Retail Management or equivalent government-accredited traineeship programStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teamsReliability and commitment to attendance and punctualityA genuine interest in the fast food and retail industryBasic numeracy and literacy skills to support inventory and financial management tasksAbility to work in a rapid-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesCustomer service experience or retail background is advantageous but not essentialEnthusiasm for learning and professional developmentAustralian Work Rights and a valid Australian Drivers Licence are preferred but not essentialWhat we offerAt Henny Penny Franchising Pty Ltd, we are committed to developing talented individuals and providing career progression opportunities.
