Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and hands-on Yardhand to join their Townsville depot on a labour hire basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position for the right person.Your new roleWorking Monday to Friday, this role will see you responsible for the movement, presentation and maintenance of a variety of hire equipment and assets.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, has solid forklift operating experience and is mechanically minded.While the role is primarily depot-based, there will be occasional travel to customer sites to carry out equipment repairs, deliveries and collections.Operating forklifts, including top loader forklifts (highly desirable)Moving equipment such as excavators, rollers, skid steers and other hire assets throughout the yardCleaning and detailing equipment to ensure it is hire-readyConducting minor repairs and maintenance to equipment and containersPainting, buffing,
