We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Storeperson to take ownership of our maintenance stores operation and help us build a best-practice approach to inventory, purchasing and parts management.You'll be the go-to person for maintenance inventory, parts procurement, supplier management and stores operations, working closely with our Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Leads and broader maintenance team to ensure critical parts and services are available when needed.Location: Maryborough, VICEmployment Type: Part time (30.4 hours per week)Roster: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - There maybe occasions where some adjustment to hours or spread of hours is required to meet operational priorities and support the maintenance teamWhat You'll Be DoingManaging the day-to-day operation of the maintenance storesSourcing and procuring maintenance parts, consumables and contractor servicesBuilding strong supplier relationships and negotiating value, service and delivery outcomesMaintaining accurate inventory records and stock control processesManaging goods receipting, stock issuing and replenishment activitiesMonitoring parts usage and identifying opportunities to optimise inventory holdingsInvestigating stock discrepancies and inventory variancesSupporting planned maintenance activities, shutdowns and projects through effective parts managementMaintaining a clean, organised and audit-ready stores environmentDriving improvements to inventory,



procurement and stores processesAbout YouWe're specifically searching for someone who has previously managed or worked within a dedicated stores functionUnderstands what "good" looks like when it comes to purchasing and inventory management practicesCan take ownership and work autonomously without needing extensive directionEnjoys building systems, improving processes and creating structureIs confident working with tradespeople, suppliers and operational teamsHolds strong purchasing, stock control and inventory management experienceAdvantageous if you have experience using CMMS/MMS systems in a manufacturing environmentInterested?
