Job DescriptionFraser Coast Hospice is seeking a dynamic, creative and community-driven Fundraising & Events Coordinator to lead approved fundraising events and campaigns that directly support compassionate end-of-life care in our 6-bed community hospice.This is not just an events role - it's a chance to help sustain dignity, comfort, and care for people and families at one of life's most key stages.About the roleYou will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering approved fundraising events, campaigns, and community initiatives that generate vital income for hospice services.Working closely with the Support Services Lead, CEO-Director of Care, Marketing & Communications Coordinator, volunteers, and community partners, you will bring together people, ideas, and energy to create meaningful and successful fundraising outcomes.You will also play a key role in supporting Fundraising Working Parties, helping turn ideas into action and ensuring initiatives are delivered professionally, safely, and successfully.What you'll be doingPlan and deliver approved fundraising events and campaignsCoordinate the annual fundraising & events calendar (including budgets and reporting)Build strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and community groupsSupport creative new fundraising ideas from concept to deliveryManage event logistics from start to finish (pre, during & post-event evaluation)Coordinate and support volunteers during eventsSupport Fundraising Working Parties (agendas,



minutes & actions)Manage fundraising promotion across social media & website updatesAssist with newsletters and donor communicationsPrepare monthly fundraising reports and maintain accurate records, Every event you help deliver, every donor you engage, and every campaign you support directly contributes to compassionate end-of-life care in our community.You'll be part of a supportive, purpose-driven team where your ideas are valued and your impact is visible every day.Hours & conditions25 hours per week (Part-time)Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 2:00pmFlexibility required for approved fundraising events (evenings & weekends as needed)Award: Health Professionals & Support Services Award - Level 7Ready to make a difference?
