Through a mix of formal study and on-the-job learning, you will build practical skills while gaining real experience in a professional workplace.As part of the Grants and Partnerships team, you will support a variety of operational and administrative activities that help bring community funding programs to life.
With guidance and support, you will assist across key stages of the grants process - including applications, monitoring and acquittals - while learning how Council policies and procedures guide this important work.You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, delivering friendly, high-quality customer service and contributing to initiatives that support community growth and development.
This role also plays a part in promoting funding opportunities and helping the community better understand how to access grants and partnerships through Townsville City Council programs.This traineeship is an exciting opportunity to develop valuable workplace skills, make a meaningful contribution to the community, and gain a nationally recognised qualification while you learn.This Position Will Complete a Two-year Certificate IV In Business Online Through Central Queensland University.

Minimum completed of Year 10 with passes in English and Mathematics.
Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers' licence (or ability to obtain).
Sound written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively and be positively involved within a team workplace.
Complete all training and assessment requirements of a Certificate IV in Business as per the provided training plan.
This includes attending and participating in structured formal learning at the nominated Registered Training Organisation (RTO) as well as keeping an accurate and up to date training record book.Work EnvironmentSalary Range: $23,920 - $49,296 per annum + super, based on schooling level completion, years out of school and age upon commencement.
