By integrating strategy, design, preconstruction and construction, we deliver high-quality commercial workplace environments for a diverse range of clients.As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Contract Administrator – Commercial to join our team.
This is more than a traditional Contract Administrator role—it offers the opportunity to become a key commercial partner, driving project success from procurement through to final account.About the Role:Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of multiple commercial fitout projects.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the commercial performance of allocated projectsAdministering head contracts and subcontract agreementsPreparing and managing progress claims, variations and extensions of timeProcuring and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliersManaging project budgets, committed costs and Cost to Complete (CTC) forecastingMonitoring project margins and identifying commercial risks and opportunitiesPreparing monthly commercial reporting and forecastingManaging subcontractor claims, payments and final accountsSupporting project handovers from preconstruction through to deliveryWorking closely with Finance on WIP,



cash flow and project reportingMaintaining commercial registers, procurement schedules and contract documentationSupporting dispute avoidance and commercial resolutionAbout YouYou are a commercially focused construction professional who enjoys being involved in the financial success of projects.You'll bring:5+ years' experience in Contract Administration, Commercial Management or a similar roleExperience within commercial construction, ideally Design & Construct or commercial fitoutStrong knowledge of construction contracts and subcontract administrationExperience managing procurement, variations, claims and extensions of timeStrong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse project financial performanceExperience managing budgets, forecasting and cost controlExcellent negotiation and stakeholder management skillsHigh attention to detail and solid organisational abilityAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with Procore, CostX, Hammertech or similar project management systems (advantageous)Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline (preferred)What's on Offer?
