Support for you and your family via our Employee Assistance Program.About the roleThe Manager, Orthotics and Prosthetics Service is accountable to the Operations Manager, Allied Health Division, for the leadership of a professional team that delivers high quality,
evidence based Orthotic and Prosthetic services to patients of the Women's and Children's Hospital.
The key component of this role is strategic leadership of the Orthotics and Prosthetics staff that provide these services.Key duties of the roleThe governance framework and strategic direction of Orthotic and Prosthetic Services is established, communicated and implementedProvide professional leadership, management, advocacy, and strategic direction for Orthotics and Prosthetic Services staff while supporting allied health services across the Women's and Children's HospitalFoster a positive and safe work environment by leading the delivery of evidence-based, consumer-focused Orthotics and Prosthetics services and ensuring compliance with clinical procedures, standard operating procedures, and clinical documentation standardsEstablishment, coordination and monitoring of effective financial management of the Orthotic and Prosthetic ServicesLead quality management,
