FairWind are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bid Manager to join our team to help manage the large amount of tenders and bid requests currently being requested for submission in the renewable energy industry.As the successful candidate you will be working collaboratively with our Sales, Project and Safety teams to manage, cost and submit competitive tenders to the largest energy OEM's on the planet.
Including installation, crane and electrical works on major energy infrastructure projects.This is a critical role in FairWind to ensure our continued growth throughout the APAC region reiterating that our renowned quality of complex bids reflects our passion in the industry.As the Bid Manager, you will be a detailed and strategy driven person who thrives on looking deep into our deals to win projects while ensuring profitability and client relationships are at the forefront.About the Role:Leading the end-to-end management of APAC tenders, bids and EOIsDevelop winning strategies and oversee high-quality submissionsCollaborate with Business Development and Operational leaders to create compelling customer solutionsReview and approving bid content to ensure accuracy, compliance and consistencyManage bid schedules, tender portals, templates and our bid libraryDrive continuous improvement through reporting, analytics and lessons learned from successful and unsuccessful submissionsSupport the sales team with client presentations, clarification processes and post-tender debriefsAllocate budget, implement management tools and structuring management of risks and opportunities, defining the sales and margin recognition methodCoordination of the project's financial components and reporting, in cooperation with PMO, operation team,



legal & commercial and sales administrationAccounting of transactions in compliance with accounting, legal, and tax standardsAbout You:To be successful in this role, you will need to be a confident leader, passionate collaborator and a shrewd negotiator;5+ years experience demonstrated experience leading a tender, bid or proposal functionA proven history of delivering successful, high-value tendersAbility to manage multiple deadlines within a quick-paced environment.Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree in business or finance (or comparable)Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (IFRS)Proficiency in ERP and financial management systemsAbility to analyse financial data and prepare budgetsExperience with audit processes and internal controls is highly preferredExcellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and presenting financial informationAbout FairWind:FairWind is a global leader in wind turbine installation and services, with a strong international presence.
