This is your opportunity to develop your leadership skills while ensuring our facilities run efficiently and supporting the growth of your team.As Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in our operations, coordinating maintenance activities, responding to critical issues, and driving continuous improvement across our site.What You'll Be DoingSupporting Your TeamTrain, develop and mentor maintenance personnel to build their technical capabilitiesAssist with recruitment and rostering to ensure optimal team coverageFoster a positive team culture focused on safety, quality and collaborationDelivering Operational ExcellenceCoordinate maintenance tasks to minimise downtimeConduct regular maintenance inspections and respond swiftly to breakdownsSupport the implementation of preventative maintenance activitiesIdentify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvementChampioning SafetyEnsure WHS compliance across all maintenance activitiesMonitor and protect the safety of your team and others affected by maintenance workActively participate in safety consultation and reportingWhat We're Looking ForEssential Requirements:Proven supervisory experience in a maintenance environmentTrade background with hands-on technical expertiseExperience in processing or production environmentsStaff rostering experience and conflict resolution skillsStrong planning, analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills at all levelsA hands-on approach with strategic thinking capabilityAbility to work across seven dayHighly Desirable:Fitting or electrical trade qualificationMeat processing industry experienceAdvanced first aid certificationCurrent forklift and EWP ticketsWhat's in It for YouDevelop your leadership skills in a supportive environment.
