About the Role
The Boilermaker is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of metal structures, boilers, tanks, chutes, hoppers, pipes, and heavy-duty equipment used in industrial operations.
The role ensures all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications and standards, supporting the operational performance and reliability of plant and equipment.
Main Responsibilities
Carry out general boilermaker maintenance, fabrication, and modificationsComplete required documentation accurately and effectivelyApply risk management strategies when completing tasks in the work environmentObserve company quality, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring implementation of the WHS&E; planEnsure adequate precaution and protection methods are used for materials and equipment during handling, storage,



and production phasesVerify works comply with specified requirementsEnsure PPE is worn at all timesReport and complete all jobs in KynectionCompetently operate plant and equipmentConduct routine inspections of plant and equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential failuresUndertake fabrication of new components and replacement parts to minimise downtimeMaintain welding equipment, tools, and service vehicle to company standards

The Successful Candidate Will:
Hold a Boilermaker trade qualification through a registered training organisationBring proven experience in heavy fabrication, plant attachment, and truck trailersHave hands-on experience in general boilermaker maintenance, fabrication, and modificationsHave a strong field service backgroundHold a White Card (or be willing to obtain one)Hold a current Australian MR minimum drivers' licence (or be willing to obtain one)Have positive communication skillsBe self-motivated and team orientatedHave a proven ability to work unsupervised with a track record of working safelyBe able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical
