Every week, we help connect healthcare professionals with organisations that rely on exceptional people to deliver outstanding care.We're looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function and ensure the accurate, compliant and timely delivery of payroll across our growing healthcare recruitment business.This is an outstanding opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys leading people, navigating complex award environments and driving continuous improvement.About the RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you'll lead a high-performing payroll team responsible for delivering an accurate and efficient payroll service across our temporary, contract and internal workforce.This is a hands-on role where you'll oversee payroll operations while identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and automation as our business continues to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end payroll function across the businessManage and develop a high-performing payroll team, including local and offshore staffInterpret and apply multiple Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements, including healthcare and aged care awardsEnsure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, including Superannuation, Payroll Tax, STP and ATO requirementsProvide expert advice on payroll legislation and award interpretationDrive payroll process improvements and identify opportunities for automationPartner with Finance, Operations and Recruitment to deliver an exceptional payroll serviceMaintain accurate reporting, governance and payroll controlsSupport payroll-related projects,
systems enhancements and business initiatives.About YouWe're looking for an experienced Payroll Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and has a genuine passion for payroll excellence.You'll ideally have:Extensive experience managing Australian payrollPrevious leadership experience within a payroll functionHealthcare, aged care or labour hire payroll experienceStrong experience interpreting and applying multiple Modern Awards and Enterprise AgreementsExcellent knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including Superannuation, Payroll Tax, STP and Fair Work requirementsExperience leading local and/or offshore payroll teamsA continuous improvement mindset with a passion for streamlining processesOutstanding attention to detail, organisational skills and stakeholder communicationWhy Join E4 People?
