Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end payroll support, including timesheet validation and payroll processingInterpreting healthcare awards, overtime, and on-call calculationsMaintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislationProcessing invoices, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping tasksSupporting accounts payable and receivable functionsPreparing reports, spreadsheets, and financial data analysisAssisting with budgeting, margin analysis, and finance administrationSupporting month-end processes and ad hoc finance projectsCollaborating with payroll, finance, compliance, and sales teams to ensure operational accuracyProviding support with urgent payroll or finance-related matters when required
About You:
Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll and/or accounting supportExperience within healthcare recruitment, agency payroll, or shift-based industries highly regardedStrong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and award interpretationHigh attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skillsConfident using Excel, including pivot tables and reporting functionsExperience with payroll/accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB, KeyPay, QuickBooks, or similarStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a teamAble to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPositive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
