Hi-Tech Modular Homes is expanding its operations in regional New South Wales and is seeking an experienced Qualified Carpenter to join our manufacturing team at our Elong Elong facility.This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of modular residential and commercial building projects in a controlled factory workplace.
You will play an important role in producing high-quality modular buildings from the framing stage through to final completion.We are looking for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in their workmanship and works well within a practical, team-focused environment.About the PositionWorking as part of our factory construction team, you will undertake a variety of carpentry and building tasks throughout the different stages of modular construction.Constructing timber wall frames, floor systems, subfloors and roof structuresCompleting structural and general carpentry workInstalling internal and external doors, skirting boards and architravesCarrying out second-fix and finishing carpentryInstalling timber cladding, decking and pergolasInstalling cabinetry, joinery and other fixturesReading and working from construction plans, drawings and specificationsChecking measurements, levels and completed work for accuracyMaintaining a high standard of workmanship and quality controlFollowing workplace health and safety proceduresCoordinating with supervisors, tradespeople and other factory team membersAssisting with general construction activities when requiredAbout YouTo be considered for this position,
