6:30am - 3:30pm (Occasional)*****hr weeksAbout the RoleDiagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairsPerforming routine servicing including hydraulics inspections, oil changes, brake inspections, and operational testingInspecting heavy vehicles for structural issues and determining required repairsRepairing or replacing faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical componentsWorking with hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipmentCompleting testing to ensure machinery and systems are functioning correctlyMaintaining records of inspections, work completed, and parts usedEnsuring compliance with safety and environmental proceduresWhat We Are Looking ForTrade qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle MechanicExperience working on heavy vehicles, trailers, or transport equipmentStrong fault finding and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of hydraulics, braking systems, and vehicle electrical systemsForklift (LF) licence - advantageousRigging or dogging tickets - advantageousBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
