This role will support the coordination and execution of logistics activities across domestic, import, and export shipments, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.Reporting to the Logistics Procurement Manager, the position will play a key role in managing shipment documentation, coordinating logistics activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily operational requirements across a high-volume logistics environment.This is a Full time Fixed Term position for a period of 12 months.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate shipment requests based on internal shipping requirements and ensure alignment with project timelinesPrepare shipment details, documentation, and booking requirements for review and approval by the Logistics Procurement ManagerArrange and book domestic, import, and export shipments with freight forwarders and courier providers (e.g. DHL, FedEx, TNT), ensuring all bookings are completed following approvalPrepare and manage complete shipment documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, CIPL (Commercial Invoice & Packing List), Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI), and other required documents, ensuring accuracy and complianceGather, validate, and maintain shipment data including dimensions, weight, value, destination, and scope, and ensure consistency across documentation and systemsLiaise with internal stakeholders (Warehouse,



Dispatch, Stores, Engineering, Project Managers) to obtain accurate shipment and packing informationMonitor and track shipments from dispatch through to delivery, follow up with freight forwarders on status, and escalated delays or issues to the Logistics Procurement Manager as requiredProvide timely updates and responses to internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and logistics coordinationManage and monitor the shared logistics/shipping mailbox, responding to general shipping-related queries and coordinating communications across internal and external stakeholdersComplete relevant inventory and shipment transactions within the ERP system (Epicor), and extract required shipment data for operational useMaintain accurate shipment logs, tracking records, and organised documentation for audit and retrieval purposesEnsure all logistics activities follow EOS procedures, compliance requirements, and approval processes, including export/import documentation standardsEscalate non-standard, urgent, or high-value shipments to ensure appropriate oversight and risk managementSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance logistics processes, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiencyProvide general administrative support to the logistics function and perform additional duties as required to support business needsAbout YouLooking to start or build a career in logistics or supply chainStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsGood communication and ability to work with different teamsComfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Lists, Sharepoint)Willing to learn systems and processesPositive attitude and proactive approachExperience in logistics, supply chain, or administration rolesExposure to export/import documentationExperience using ERP systems (e.g. Epicor)Familiarity with shipping or freight coordination processes
