Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their finance team and support the accurate and timely processing of payroll across the business.The OpportunityReporting to the Payroll Manager, this role will see you responsible for end-to-end payroll processing while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, awards, and company policies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end payroll processing on a weekly/fortnightly basisMaintaining accurate employee payroll records and dataProcessing new starters, terminations, superannuation, and leave entitlementsInterpreting awards, EBAs,



and payroll legislationManaging payroll queries from employees in a timely and professional mannerProcessing payroll reconciliations and assisting with month-end reportingEnsuring compliance with Fair Work, ATO, and Superannuation requirementsAssisting with payroll audits and continuous process improvementsSupporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative duties as requiredSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a Payroll Officer positionStrong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirementsExperience processing end-to-end payroll independentlyExposure to payroll systems such as Chris21, Micropay, ADP, Employment Hero, Preceda, or similarIntermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot TablesHigh attention to detail with strong organisational skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to work autonomously and meet strict deadlinesBenefitsSupportive and collaborative team cultureCompetitive salary packageFlexible working arrangements availableModern office environmentCareer progression and development opportunitiesImmediate start available
