JRT Group has existing and upcoming civil projects in Rockhampton and Yeppoon and is seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Project Engineer to join the team.
This role offers the prospect to work across a variety of civil construction projects while contributing to project delivery, quality outcomes, and team success.Role Overview:You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of civil projects through effective planning, coordination, and site management while ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are achieved.What You'll Be Doing:Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil construction projectsWork closely with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site crewsCoordinate daily site activities to ensure works are delivered safely and efficientlyManage set-out, inspections, measurements, and quality assurance processesMonitor project progress against program and provide reporting on performance and outputsPrepare and maintain project documentation including reports, dockets, schedules, and site recordsAssist with procurement, subcontractor coordination, and resource planningEnsure all Work Health and Safety (WHS)
