Serving major industries and mining operations across Western Australia.About The RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician who can contribute to the effective operation of the Saltbush Operational Sites.Individuals will need to have a positive, adaptable team-oriented approach, with willingness and desire to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
This position will give you enough variety to keep you on your toes and will provide the successful candidate with plenty of room to grow and develop.The role is available for Goldfield's (Kalgoorlie/Kambalda) Midwest (Perenjori) andn you will need to be able to work across of all of our operations, as required.DUTIES INCLUDED, but not limited toDiagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems on heavy mobile plant, light vehicle, ancillary and support vehiclesDiagnose faults using OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting equipmentInstall, maintain and repair, Vehicle tracking systems, IVCS and two-way communicationsMaintain equipment in a clean,



safe and serviceable condition in accordance with the recommended operating practices including the completion of a daily pre-start safety check.Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with OH&S; policies, procedures and safe work practices.Identify problems or possible improvements in our activities, services or procedures.Undertaking other duties which may include operation of other plant and equipment where suitably licensed and experienced.Essential CriteriaCurrent WA Drivers Licence including licences required to drive and operate all equipment outlined aboveNational Police ClearanceComplete Medical and Drug and Alcohol ClearanceCERT III in automotive electrical technologyDesired experience and competenciesPrevious Work experience in a similar environmentAbility to complete standard forms associated with inspection and reporting requirementsAbility to use initiative to resolve problems and apply negotiation skills while making timely decisions that are compatible with available information and business goals.Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and compliance with Occupational Safety and HealthAir conditioning handling licenceHR drivers' licence.We offer a competitive renumeration package and the opportunity for career growth and development.All candidates must supply a recent National Police Clearance (less than 6-months old) and have the ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug/alcohol screening.
