Together, the teamsensure consistent, cohesive standards aremaintained, and that all casual academic staff are paid accurately in line withUniversitypolicies and procedure and legislative requirements.About the opportunityAsCommunicationsSpecialistyouareresponsible forleading the strategic design and provision of communications across the University supporting University staff to understand their compliance obligations with the Enterprise Agreement, the University's HR and industrial relations policies and the overall workplace compliance and operations process.The role has a specific focus on compliance, education, awarenesscampaignsand stakeholder engagement.Your key responsibilities will be to:Implement andmaintainthe Workplace Relations and Compliance communications plandevelop communications strategies that drive understanding of University's compliance andEnterprise Agreementobligationsdesign, develop - initiatives to uplift the knowledge and capability ofUniversitystaffsupport the Educationand TrainingAdvisor in the development and roll out of education and/or training programsevaluate the effectiveness and quality of the training programs and communications strategies to ensure they are fit for purposeprovides effective leadership and management guidance and support to the staff in the broader work areabuild andmaintainprofessional relationships through effective communication and engagement capability.About youPostgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experienceprovencommunications leadership experience across large, complexorganisations,managing multipleconcurrent workstreamsexperience in developing and managing compliance frameworksdemonstrated experience and understanding of the requirements of working with and supporting a high performing collaborative teamdemonstrated experience in communications including leading community awareness and engagement methodologiesdemonstrated experience in the supervision, training,mentoringand performance management of staff; and experience managing and resolving a diverse range of complex HR issuesexperience delivering education programs, preferably in a tertiary education setting.Sponsorship / work rights forAustraliaPlease note: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
