As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Designer to join our expanding Technical Team.
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the construction and manufacturing sectors.
You will collaborate closely with Technical Designers, Project Teams, and the Commercial Sales team to develop practical, buildable solutions from concept through to production.
Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll apply your knowledge of metal fabrication, manufacturing processes, and technical detailing to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and detail architectural building products and custom fabrication solutions across a range of industries and project typesProduce shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation documentation and manufacturing detailsInterpret architectural, technical, and shop drawings accuratelyCollaborate with internal teams, clients, suppliers,



and production staffEnsure projects are delivered on schedule and within budgetProvide regular project updates and maintain accurate revision controlApply practical manufacturing and fabrication knowledge to improve design outcomes
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with solid technical capability and a practical understanding of manufacturing processes.
You can autonomously manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality.
You will also bring:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a design, drafting, engineering role or building products role (Facades, Shrouds, Screens, Planter boxes, Balustrade etc.)Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Rhino or similar)Experience in sheet metal design and metal fabricationKnowledge of facade, cladding, architectural metalwork or building envelope systems highly regardedAbility to read and interpret architectural and fabrication drawingsStrong understanding of design for manufacturability principlesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong organisational and project management abilitiesHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilityHands-on approach with a practical mindsetEmployment Type: Full-time | On-siteSalary: Negotiable based on experience
