Windscreen repair & installation technicianTotal Auto Glass is seeking a skilled and experienced Windscreen Repair & Installation Technician to join our team in Brighton, Victoria.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and integrity of vehicles for our valued customers.
As a technician in this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality windscreen repairs and installations, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and customer expectations.
This position is essential to our service delivery and contributes directly to our reputation for excellence in automotive care.Key responsibilitiesRepair and replace vehicle windscreens, side windows and rear windows to the highest standardsAssess damage to glass and determine whether repair or replacement is the appropriate solutionApply adhesive sealants and ensure proper installation of windscreens and windowsOperate specialised tools and equipment safely and effectivelyInspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and customer satisfaction is achievedMaintain accurate records of all repairs and installations completedCommunicate with customers regarding their windscreen needs and provide professional adviceKeep work area clean, organised and safe in accordance with health and safety regulationsMaintain knowledge of different vehicle makes and models and their specific windscreen requirementsWhat were looking forFormal qualifications or certification in automotive glass repair and installation, or proven equivalent experienceMinimum of 2-3 years' experience as a windscreen technician in a professional automotive environmentStrong technical knowledge of glass repair and replacement procedures and best practicesProficiency in using windscreen repair equipment,
