Our client is looking for experienced Counsellors or Psychologists (including Social Workers or Mental Health Nurses with previous counselling or telehealth experience) to join their team for a 2 year long term temporary assignment.About the role:Working in a call centre setting, you will be providing high-quality clinical services including risk assessment and interventionClinical intake, triage, and referralsIndividual single session counselling sessionsProviding escalation pathway supportUpdating internal CRM/database accordinglyLiaise with families and coordinate with relevant treatment providersParticipate in community development and projects as requiredAbout you:You will have previous experience working in a counselling environment, providing trauma informed, holistic, and client centered careYou will have previous experience completing intake and risk assessmentsYou will have strong written and verbal communicate skillsYou will have the ability to respond to critical incidents in a calm and timely mannerYou will be flexible to work in a phone based mental health/counselling environmentYou will have intermediate to advanced IT skills,



and previously used databases and relevant MS packages.Mandatory Requirements for the role:You must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, either Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration, or Working with Children Check (WWCC)You must hold APHRA Registration as a Psychologist, Occupational TherapistOr you will be a Social Worker with membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) upon commencementOr you will be a Counsellor with Master's-level counselling qualification with Registered Clinical Counsellor with PACFA, orOr you will be Counsellor with Master's-level counselling qualification with ACA Level 3 or Level 4Must be an Australian Citizen able to obtain a Baseline ClearenceBenefits:ASAP start2-year casual temporary assignmentWorking 37.5 hours per week on a rostered 24/7 basis.Melbourne CBD location, +hybrid working from home$***** - $***** per hour + super + shift penalties for evenings and weekends.Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship.
