Whether your background is in structured cabling or electronic security, we'll support you to develop your skills across both disciplines.This is a hands on field position working across a variety of commercial and industrial sites.
You'll be provided with a take home branded company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone and uniform required to perform your role.You'll work across recent installations, maintenance, fault finding and upgrades for commercial and industrial customers throughout the Central Coast, Sydney and Newcastle areas.You must be currently based in Australia with unrestricted working rights (no sponsorship available).
Key ResponsibilitiesInstalling and terminating Cat6 and Cat6A cablingFibre optic cabling installation, splicing or termination (experience preferred)Testing and certification of structured cablingInstalling and servicing access control systemsCCTV installation and fault findingAlarm installation and servicingDiagnosing and rectifying faultsReading plans and following project documentationMaintaining high quality workmanship and accurate job recordsWorking independently and as part of a small teamExperience in structured cabling or electronic securityA willingness to learn and develop across both disciplinesExcellent attention to detailAbility to work independentlyWhite CardDesirable Skills & QualificationsOpen Cabler Registration with Structured and Fibre endorsementsSecurity LicenceFibre termination or splicing experienceExperience with brands such as Inner Range, Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Milestone or similarEWP, Working at Heights or First Aid qualificationsWhy Join CCTS?
