Maintenance Carpenter – $65/hr - Immediate StartMinumbra is a privately held, 100% Australian-owned company established over 25 years ago by a group of senior Australian executives, all of whom remain involved in the company today.Minumbra has developed and owned high-quality remote mining accommodation throughout Northern Australia and prides itself on providing industry-leading technologies, ideas and efficiencies across each village and community.We employ a skilled in-house trade team responsible for the management, maintenance and operation of our accommodation villages and housing assets.Due to an increase in maintenance works, we are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our Facilities Maintenance team on a contract basis.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent work, a varied workload and the opportunity to work across a large property portfolio.THE ROLE:This is a minimum 3-month contract, with the opportunity for ongoing work for the right person.
Applicants must be either locally based in the Blackwater region or able to work on a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) basis.
FIFO arrangements are not available for this position.You'll work across a diverse range of maintenance and minor project works including:General building maintenanceRepairs to residential housingMaintenance within accommodation villagesDoor, window and lock repairsFlooring, skirting and cabinetry repairsFence and gate repairsMinor renovations and refurbishment worksInsurance and damage repairsAssisting other trades where requiredMaintaining a safe and tidy work environmentNo two days are the same,
