The role contributes as part of a multi-disciplinary team by assisting senior Project Managers with the planning, advisory, and delivery of infrastructure projects across NSW.In this role you may be working as a contract administrator on projects across regional NSW, for example:Water and wastewater infrastructure projectsMechanical and electrical projects in government facilitiesRefurbishment or general construction projects of government-owned buildingsBridge and road projectsAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will have experience and knowledge of project management concepts, and/or construction and design experience.
To be considered for this role,
you will meet the following essential requirements which can be found in the role description, as well as the following:Appropriate trade, post-trade or tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, architecture, building, civil construction, construction management, or relevant field experience which includes 1-2 years practical experience in design or construction, or contract administrationA high degree of enthusiasm and drive, with a strong desire to assist in delivering positive outcomes as part of a teamA practical mindset with a hands-on approach to getting things doneExperience with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Project)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary setting.Sound reasoning and problem-solving skillsCurrent NSW Driver Licence with flexibility and willingness to travel to NSW regional towns, which may include overnight stays.About UsNSW Public Works (PW), plays a significant role in the development of our state, our regions, and our infrastructure and associated industries, by supporting local and state government agencies to deliver critical infrastructure initiatives.
