Based in sunny Pacific Paradiseyou will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary dental team, working alongside dentists to enhance patient outcomes and promote oral health within our community.What you'll be doingAssessing and evaluating patients' oral health status and providing tailored preventative advice and educationPerforming non-invasive therapeutic procedures including scaling, root planing, and polishing to maintain optimal oral hygienePerforming procedures like restorations, whitening and orthodontic reviews for our principal dentist.Providing oral health education to patients regarding hygiene practices, dietary modifications, and disease prevention strategiesMaintaining detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with privacy and professional standardsCollaborating with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment planningSupporting clinical and administrative processes to ensure efficient practice operationsWhat we're looking forTo be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia as an Oral Health TherapistTertiary qualification in Oral Health Therapy from an accredited Australian institutionCurrent CPR certification appropriate to healthcare settingsStrong clinical skills with demonstrated competency in preventative and therapeutic oral health proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities,



with a patient-centred approach to careProven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary teamSound knowledge of oral health promotion, disease prevention, and current best practice guidelinesMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate clinical documentationFlexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environmentProfessional approach to confidentiality and patient privacyPreferred experience includes working in diverse patient populations, experience in paediatric oral health, and familiarity with Carestack and Sidexis.What we offerNorthshore Dental and Oral Health is committed to creating a rewarding work environment where healthcare professionals can thrive.
