Following market feedback, Decmil are seeking a QA Site Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be working closely with leaders and crews to enable safe, efficient and compliant delivery.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and implementation of quality control and assurance procedures and plansProgressive compilation of deliverable quality verification documentation into approved MDR format.Analyse head contract, identify Decmil deliverables, develop a deliverables schedule, track, and report timely submissionsDevelop subcontractor quality scope and deliverables list for inclusion in subcontracts, track, and report subcontractor submission progressDevelopment and execution of ITPs, ITRs and proceduresCollate deliverables, facilitate development and maintenance of relevant registers such as lot, materials, calibration, consumables, NCRs, deliverables, and audit progressivelyLiaise with Client and subcontractors on quality issues; track client satisfaction through written and verbal feedback,



communicate project team and report improvementsCoordinate site inspections such as Hold/Witness Point with engineering, supervision, and the client representativesDeliver quality workshops to increase awareness on project quality requirements and discuss lessons learntWhat You'll BringRecognised degree in engineering2+ years' skilled experience in Quality Engineering in fabrication or industrial or energy or complex infrastructure projects where quality control and assurance had paramount importance, and direct involvement in quality activities associated with deliverables of the held positionProven ability in development and implementation of inspection and test plans (ITP), ITRs, and proceduresUnderstanding of work lot context and ability to apply lot management principles extensivelyAbility to read and understand drawings, verify completed works against drawingsDevelopment of quality related documentation and systematic management of recordsStrong attention to detail and service mindsetClear communication and ability to work with different teamsCommitment to safety, respect and doing things the right wayLocation: Western SydneyRoster: Monday- SaturdayInitial Project Duration: 15 MonthsFull Time PermanentCompetitive benefits package including:Paid Parental Leave for primary carersRetail discounts (including homewares, outdoor gear, fuel and groceries)Novated leasesComprehensive wellbeing programWhy Decmil?
