We're seeking a skilled Die Setter to support our growing team.Working Hours:Afternoon shift position, 2:30pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday.Location:South Western Sydney, within a key industrial hub close to major transport routes.
10km radius from Liverpool NSW ****.What You'll Do:Install and remove moulds and set up work areas for production, including robot attachments.Perform insert changesConduct production start-ups and prepare First-Off submissions for Quality Control (QC).
Collaborate with material handlers and tool makers to ensure materials, inserts, and mould maintenance are ready in advance of production changesWork closely with Quality Control to address any issues/deviations in qualityTroubleshoot moulding faultsAbility to conduct production changeovers within expected timeframes and with accuracyAttention to detail and a commitment to completing documentationA proactive attitude towards workplace safety and housekeeping standardsAbility to read and interpret production plans and prioritize tasks accordinglyWillingness to work closely with multiple teams (QC, Tool Makers, Shift Supervisors, etc.)A scientific and continuous improvement mindset towards moulding processesWillingness to develop skills and build familiarity with machines and moulds over timeWhat's on Offer:A collaborative and supportive team environment across three rotating shiftsOpportunity to build specialised expertise in die setting and injection moulding with one of Australia's leading injection mouldersA role with variety, including technical set-ups, quality control collaboration, and training opportunitiesA dynamic work setting with room for continuous learning and advancementBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
