We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join the team at TAPS R US AUSTRALIA PTY LTD in Kunda Park, Queensland.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our plumbing systems and equipment.
As a Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plumbing installations across our operations, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of our business and customer satisfaction.Key responsibilitiesConduct routine maintenance inspections on plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problemsPerform repairs and replacements of faulty pipes, fittings, valves and other plumbing componentsInstall new plumbing systems and fixtures according to specifications and relevant building codesTroubleshoot plumbing issues and diagnose problems accurately using appropriate testing equipmentMaintain detailed records of maintenance work completed, including parts used and time spent on each jobRespond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and provide swift solutions to minimise downtimeEnsure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health, safety and environmental regulationsLiaise with customers to explain work performed and provide advice on plumbing care and maintenanceOrder and maintain adequate supplies of plumbing materials and toolsWhat we're looking forA recognised plumbing qualification or apprenticeship certification in plumbingCurrent plumber's licence or equivalent registration as required by Queensland regulationsMinimum of 3-5 years' experience working as a plumber in maintenance or service rolesStrong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials,
