Prawat Enterprises Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications to determine job requirements.
Measure, mark, cut, shape and assemble timber and other construction materials.
Construct, erect and install wall frames, roof framing and other structural components.
Install flooring, external cladding, door frames, window frames, fixtures and fittings.
Select and prepare appropriate materials for construction and installation work.
Check completed structures to ensure they are level, square, plumb and completed according to specifications.
Construct and assemble formwork where required.
Renovate, repair and replace existing timber structures and fittings.
Use carpentry tools, machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and safe work setting and comply with workplace health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience





Applicants must have:
Minimum Certificate III in Carpentry or a relevant equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Carpenter.
Demonstrated knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Good communication, organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
