Spirou Seafood and Salad is a family-owned and operated restaurant, proudly serving the Port Pirie community since 1998. Known for our delicious seafood, fresh salads, and welcoming atmosphere, we are committed to delivering outstanding customer service and quality food. We are now looking for a dedicated Hospitality Worker to join our growing team and support front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner.
Prepare and maintain dining areas, including setting tables and cleaning up after service.
Assist in the preparation and display of food and drinks as per service requirements.
Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of service areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
Handle cash and process transactions using point-of-sale systems.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any service issues or complaints.
Assist kitchen and service staff with duties such as dishwashing, restocking supplies, or food delivery to tables.
Follow workplace health and safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a hospitality, café, or restaurant environment for at least a year is highly regarded.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented with a positive attitude.
Basic food handling knowledge and understanding of hygiene standards.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
