About the role

We are seeking a fulltime ‘Finance Manager’

The AMS Finance Manager role is to control accounts procedures with a reporting line to the Executive Accounts Manager.

The role is responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and budgeting, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. This role plays a key part in strategic decision-making and improving financial performance.

Responsibilities
Undertake all necessary accounts procedures in accordance with company requirements.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
Manage cash flow, and capital requirements.




Ensure compliance with external stakeholders including ATO, QBCC, QLeave,
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
Monitor internal controls and implement improvements to safeguard assets.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Director and Shareholders

Requirements for the role
Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
SimPRO software experience is highly desirable but not mandatory as training will be provided.
Pleasant and patient phone manner.
Reliable and team oriented.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and handle pressure in a quick-paced setting.
Current drivers’ licence and own reliable transport a must.
