Mountain View Café is looking for an experienced Chef or Cook to join our established kitchen team.This is initially a casual position with 25+ hours available each week, generally worked across four or five daytime shifts.
For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into a permanent full-time position and take on greater responsibility within the kitchen.Formal chef qualifications are welcome but are not essential.
We are equally interested in experienced cooks who have spent a solid amount of time working in professional kitchens and are confident operating in a busy, high-volume environment.Why work with us?

We work hard and maintain high standards without creating an unnecessarily stressful or negative workplace.The position will involve a combination of weekday and weekend shifts.
We are looking for someone with broad availability across the week and the flexibility to work different days when required.
