About the company:Our client is a reputable, Australian owned Technical Supplies business specialising in the Hospitality, Gas Safety, Industrial, Scientific and Medical industries.
Due to internal movements they have an exciting opportunity for someone with exposure to Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable to join their Finance team.Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable (AR)Assist with customer setup and maintenance in the accounting systemProcess daily cash receipts in line with bank statementsMatch customer remittances to invoices and allocate receipts in our Pronto SystemAssist with rebate processing and preparation of credit notesGenerate and issue customer statements as requiredRespond to basic customer payment queries via email or phoneEscalate overdue accounts, disputes, or complex issues to senior staffAccounts Payable (AP)Assist with supplier setup and maintenanceEnter supplier invoices (PO and non-PO)



accurately and on timeProcess freight invoices and supporting documentationAssist with supplier payment runs and manual paymentsAllocate supplier payments in the accounting systemAssist with supplier statement checks and reconciliationsRespond to basic supplier queries regarding invoices and paymentsEscalate discrepancies, missing invoices, or urgent payment issuesAbout you:Previous experience in an accounting support roleYou are detail-focused, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of basic accounting principles (AP/AR fundamentals)High level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to process invoices, credit notes, receipts, and remittances accuratelyExperience with bank reconciliation basicsProficient in Microsoft Office, Med to advance in Excel an advantageWillingness to support the broader finance teamClear and skilled communication via email and phoneStrong relationship‐building approach with internal and external stakeholdersExposure to ERP systems (e.g., Pronto or similar platforms) an advantageReference number: Company: NW Professional Services- Professional
