Due to continued growth, they are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple hotel entities.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and post journals, accruals,



and prepaymentsPerform bank and balance sheet reconciliationsSupport accounts payable and receivable functionsAssist with BAS preparation and compliance reportingAnalyse financial data and assist in management reportingMaintain accurate records in line with accounting standards
About You
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field1-3 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar roleWorking towards or planning to commence CA / CPA qualificationStrong understanding of Australian accounting standardsIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsExperience with accounting systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
