Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionSMP Fabrication is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Welder / Metal Fabricator to join their team in Wauchope NSW.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Being able to read and analyse blueprints and drawingsHave the ability and experience to use a TIG and MIG welderExamining welds for the width of bead, penetration and precisionHave the ability to weld vertically, horizontally and overheadBe able to weld various metals using various techniquesCut, roll, shape, bend, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assembliesHeat treat metal parts and componentsSet up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipmentAssemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding,



bolting or rivetingFinish products by cleaning, polishing, filing or bathing them in acid solutions, or by applying protective or decorative coatings.Skills & Abilities:Certificate III in Engineering (Welding Fabrication) or equivalent qualificationMinimum of three years' experience in this role or similarAbility to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position availableApplication opens on 7th of August **** and closes on 7th of September ****.
