great food and a friendly communityWhat you'll be doingCarry out preventative and corrective maintenanceon plant and equipment with some of the worlds most advanced machinery.Attend to breakdowns and safely restore productionin an effective mannerIdentify and report plant, equipment and safetyissues and contribute to corrective actionsSupport fabrication and modification of equipmentwhere requiredMaintain workshop, tools and equipment in a clean,tidy and safe conditionEnsure all maintenance work areas are free offoreign objects prior to handoverComplete maintenance records, registers andassociated documentationWork in accordance with site safety, food safetyand operational proceduresWhat you'll bringProven experience in a manufacturing or foodprocessing environmentStrong mechanical fitting skills includingconveyors, bearings, chains and sprocketsCompetency in MIG, TIG and arc welding; gas andplasma cuttingExperience with pneumatics and hydraulicsAbility to read drawings and safely fault‐findequipmentExperience using lathes and milling machinesAbility to work independently while contributing toa team‐based environmentA proactive, safety‐first mindset with strongproblem‐solving skillsAt Mildura Fruit Company, we value peoplewho take pride in their work, think safely, and enjoy being part of a crew thatgets the job done—especially through the seasonal peaks.
