Paxus is partnering with a large, complex public-sector environment to secure an experienced SAP HR Functional Expert to support and enhance a mission-critical SAP HR & Payroll landscape on SAP S/4HANA.
This is a hands-on functional role across BAU support + major optimisation initiatives, requiring deep Time and Payroll configuration capability.You'll join a HR functional team supporting a large and complex SAP HR/Payroll environment.
The focus will be on keeping the platform stable and compliant while delivering enhancements and optimisation work across HR and payroll processes.What you'll be doingProvide expert functional support across SAP HCM & Payroll in a complex environmentLead functional analysis, investigation, solution design, configuration and delivery of enhancements/defect fixesTranslate business requirements into workable SAP HR/Payroll solutions and explicit documentationPerform configuration, documentation and testing (unit, integration support, regression/UAT support)Support integration activities between SAP and other HR-critical systemsProduce high-quality deliverables (solution designs, functional specs, configuration docs, test scripts/evidence, support docs)Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to uplift internal capability over timeMandatory skills & experience (please only apply if you meet these)Strong, proven experience in SAP Payroll support,
