Data Engineer ( GCP / BigQuery / Python )Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Perth (Remote or hybrid)$******* a day DOE including superWe're partnering with one of Australia's leading digital businesses to find two Data Engineers to join a growing data team working on a large-scale data foundation program.This is an chance to join a business investing heavily in its modern data platform, helping shape the foundations that power analytics, reporting and future AI initiatives across the organisation.Rather than simply building pipelines, you'll work on a complex enterprise data platform, extending an established dbt project, developing scalable data assets and contributing to a modern data governance framework from the ground up.The RoleWorking alongside experienced Data Engineers and Architects, you'll help deliver the next phase of a large enterprise data platform built on Google Cloud.You'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines, building reusable data models and supporting a contemporary analytics environment used across the business.You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of data governance capabilities using Google's native tooling, helping ensure the platform is scalable, well-documented and built for long-term success.What You'll Be Working WithGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)BigQueryPythondbtModern cloud data architectureData governance and metadata managementAbout YouYou'll ideally have experience working in a modern cloud data environment and enjoy building robust,
