Liverpool Eye Surgery is a fully accredited, purpose-built ophthalmic day surgery featuring state-of-the-art equipment and advanced technology.
Since its opening in ****, the team of experienced eye surgeons and specialist ophthalmic nurses at Liverpool Eye Surgery have developed a reputation for excellence by providing the highest standard of patient-centred care.We are seeking an experienced Administration Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Performing opening / closing duties of the day surgery unitMaintaining positive interactions with patients, carers, VMOs and specialist roomsLiaising with Private Health Funds regarding patient eligibilityProcessing payments via EFTPOS and handling billing informationPreparation of daily bankingPreparation of patient quotes/receiptsPreparation/distribution of daily mailAccurate and timely preparation of theatre list and patient medical chartsMaintaining a professional appearance and demeanourMedical record management to ensure legislative requirements are metManagement of reception staff including training and development and rosteringExperience and Key Skills Required:Proven track record and extensive experience in the area of office administration and people management (preferable, but not essential, that this experience was within a hospital / healthcare environment).
Certificate in Medical Terminology (desirable, but not necessary)Previous experience in a healthcare environment is essentialExperience using Microsoft Office SuiteOutstanding attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisation and time management skillsThe ability to take initiative,
