Mental Health Clinician, MyRecovery - MoruyaThis is a part time (22.5hours per week) position, fixed term until 30th June ****, with the possibility of extension.
Based in Moruya with outreach to Batemans Bay and Ulladulla.The Mental Health Clinician will work collaboratively within the Mental Health team to undertake individual assessments, develop targeted rehabilitation plans and provide evidence based psychological interventions for a diverse range of consumers with mental health needs and their families and carers.A positive work culture by offering versatile work arrangements that support your wellbeingOngoing professional development and supervisionIncrease your take home pay by salary packaging up to $15,900 + $2,650 meals and entertainmentGPH Staff ConferenceEmployer paid parental leave on top of the government PPL SchemeFree and confidential Employee Assistance ProgramDutiesConduct mental health assessments and identify consumer needs.Develop tailored rehabilitation plans and deliver evidence-based psychological support.Collaborate with GPs, health professionals, NGOs and government agencies to achieve positive consumer outcomes.Support a person-centred, recovery-focused approach for consumers, families and carers while improving access to affordable mental health services.Skills & ExperienceCurrent AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Aboriginal Health Worker, Mental Health Nurse, or Occupational Therapist (accredited with OTA as meeting the Australian Competency Standards for occupational therapists in mental health), or accreditation (or working towards)
with the AASW as a Mental Health Social WorkerOR Current clinical registration as a PACFA Mental Health Practitioner and have demonstrated they meet PACFA's Mental Health Competencies.OR Current Level 3 or 4 membership with ACA.Demonstrated experience in undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and development of intervention plans in collaboration with consumers and their family and carersDemonstrated skills and experience in providing holistic, evidence-based therapeutic servicesUnderstanding of the biological, psychological and social underpinnings of mental healthAbout Grand Pacific HealthWhat we care about most is supporting healthier, happier, more connected communities across NSW and the ACT.We're a for-purpose organisation delivering high-quality, low- or no-cost physical, mental and social health services.
