Working closely with Project Directors, site teams, clients, subcontractors and consultants, you will ensure robust contract administration, cost control, risk management and commercial governance throughout the project lifecycle.This is a senior role suited to a commercially astute professional who thrives in a fast‐paced, delivery‐focused construction setting.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end‐to‐end commercial management of projects to achieve targeted financial outcomesDevelop and implement procurement strategies, including work package breakdowns, subcontractor selection, procurement methodology and timingDrive timely award of subcontract packages within approved budgetsProactively manage contract, commercial and financial risk through accurate forecasting and corrective actionLead identification,



assessment and negotiation of head contract variations and scope changes with clientsManage contractual obligations with the client, including progress claims, variations and extension of time (EoT) claimsProvide commercial advice to the leadership team on claims, disputes, contractual correspondence, risks and opportunitiesManage and resolve contractual claims and disputes, including liaison with internal or external legal advisorsProduce accurate cost reports and forecasts, providing early warning of variances against budgetMaintain strong market engagement and foster collaborative partnerships with subcontractors and consultants, staying across market movements and conditionsCoach and mentor commercial team members to build capability and performanceContribute to margin improvement through disciplined planning, negotiation and collaboration with the project teamAbout YouYou are an experienced commercial professional with a strong track record delivering complex construction projects and leading contractual and financial outcomes.You will bring:Demonstrated experience in a Senior Contracts Administratoror Contracts Manager role on large‐scale construction projectsStrong commercial acumen with the ability to manage financial risk and contractual complexityPrevious experience with Jobpac & ProcurePro would be preferable but not essential.Excellent negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and meet critical timeframesA collaborative leadership style with experience coaching and developing teamsTertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
