Cowes Total Car Care is seeking a Roadside Patrolman to join our team on a full-time basis in Cowes, VIC ****.
This is a position within our automotive services operation, where you will be the frontline representative providing emergency roadside assistance to motorists in distress.
As a Roadside Patrolman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients whilst maintaining the reputation of Cowes Total Car Care for reliability and professionalism.
This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently whilst responding to calls in various weather conditions and locations throughout our service area.Key responsibilitiesRespond promptly to roadside assistance calls and provide immediate support to stranded or distressed motoristsPerform roadside diagnostics and undertake basic mechanical repairs to get vehicles back on the road safelyAssess vehicle damage and mechanical issues, providing clear advice to customers about repair optionsConduct vehicle inspections and document findings accurately for reporting purposesArrange towing services when necessaryMaintain detailed records of all roadside assistance calls, repairs completed, and customer interactionsCommunicate professionally with customers, providing updates on service progress and estimated timeframesEnsure all equipment and tools are maintained in good working order and properly stocked in the patrol vehicleFollow all health and safety protocols and maintain roadside safety whilst working near trafficContribute to customer satisfaction by providing courteous and efficient service at all timesWhat we're looking forCurrent light vehicle driving licence with a clean driving recordExperience in automotive repairs, mechanical diagnostics,
