As a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play an integral role in delivering safe, evidence-based care while supporting patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.At Mater, you'll be part of a collaborative team that is committed to clinical excellence, continuous learning and delivering exceptional patient experiences.This position will involve working 24/7 rotating rostered shifts including early, late, night and weekend shifts.Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doingAs a valued member of our Medical & Rehabilitation Inpatients ward, you will uphold the highest clinical standards while:Delivering optimal patient outcomes throughout every stage of the patient journey and continuum of careApplying exceptional clinical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of procedures to manage patients with outstanding careIntegrating quality and risk management strategies seamlessly into daily service deliveryCollaborating effectively with the nursing team to ensure consistently exceptional careMaintaining and advancing your professional skills and knowledge to support ongoing growth and developmentAbout youYou thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment where you can bring your energy, expertise and passion to contribute meaningfully within a dynamic and exciting ward setting.Key skills and experience you bring include:Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)2 years post grad experience as a Registered Nurse working in the Medical/ Rehab environmentAbility to work in an ever-changing and fast paced environmentA strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater valuesExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levelsDemonstrated ability to operate both in a team workplace and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsCommitment to ensuring the levels of service is always delivered to patientsMater is Queensland's largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 12 hospitals.
