We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in the door and entrance systems industry, based in Bangholme.
They're after an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their production team on a full-time, ongoing basis.About the roleYou'll be hands-on in the manufacture and assembly of roller shutters and other door types, working from detail sheets and under the direction of the Production Manager and leading hands.
It's a wide-ranging role on the floor - welding, assembling, operating workshop machinery, and helping keep things running smoothly day to day.What you'll be doingManufacturing and assembling roller shutters and other door products to specMIG welding drums, brackets and guides (light and heavy gauge steelwork)General assembly of finished goodsLocating, pulling and verifying materials against production ordersLoading/unloading vehicles and trucks, and general goods handlingOperating hand tools and powered tools (drills, grinders, sanders, routers,
